  •  With OutFront, you get a semi-customized plan designed around your life and work schedule, your strengths, your limiters, and your ultimate goals.

  • Nearly every week we're doing a zoom call for athlete check ins and to teach a workshop.
  •  If you're unable to make a call, Zoom sessions are recorded and uploaded to our team area.

Here’s how it works

Follow these steps to have the most successful season yet: 

Step 1: Join The Team

The first step is to just join the team. Once you’re in, you’ll get to meet your amazing teammates and say hi.

Step 2: Book a Call & Get Your Semi-Custom Plan

We’ll discuss your goals, your schedule, where you’re struggling, and what you need to get to the next level. After your call, we’ll create a semi-customized training plan in Training Peaks. It will match your needs, whether you’re training for a triathlon, marathon, or 5k.

Step 3: Train with Support & Accountability

With near weekly Zoom check-ins, our off Facebook forum (Heartbeat Chat app), and 24/7 community support, you’ll stay motivated and on track. Our coaches are always available to answer questions and help you to understand how to adjust your training.

The Result?  
 We’ll make sure you’re not just prepared—we’ll make sure you’re confident.Our race-day strategy (training + nutrition) ensures you’ve got the physical endurance, the stamina and mental toughness to compete at the highest level. When the gun goes off, you’ll be ready to go!

Cristina Caldwell, MS

Endurance coach & sports nutritionist

With over 20 years of coaching experience and over 30 years as a competitive swimmer, triathlete and runner, I know what it takes to achieve goals as an athlete. Helping my clients reach the heights they are truly capable of is one of my biggest passions in life. It is second only to my husband, sons, and my running companion Ridgebacks.

 Over the years, I’ve worked with many triathletes, runners, and ultra athletes, providing training plans, sports nutrition, and endurance coaching. I earned both a BS and MS degree in Exercise Physiology and sports nutrition. I hold certifications in triathlon, run and swim coaching. In addition, I’ve worked as a strength coach and cycling instructor. I hold the prestigious 2 year post graduate diploma from the International Olympic Committee in exercise physiology and sports nutrition, and I am a certified Sports Nutritionist with the ISSN.

 I’ve worked with age group athletes up through Olympians and professional triathletes. From first-time Ironman to qualifying for Kona. From first-time marathon, to a BQ. I swam Division 1 at Miami University (butterfly). I’ve raced Ironman for over 15 years, and held the honor of being a previous USMS 5k National Open Water Champion.

 Unfortunately due to a genetic condition that impacts my connective tissue, I can’t be as competitive as I once was. But that doesn’t stop me from giving it my all, and helping my athletes achieve their dream goals. I believe it takes these three things to be successful: effort, attitude and consistency. Brett Caldwell

Endurance Coach and Tech Guru

I joined the military over 20 years ago, and running has been a constant in my life ever since. 15 years ago, after seeing my father-in-law complete Ironman Lake Placid the day before our wedding, my passion for multisport events was sparked. Within 2 years I’d completed my first Ironman, received my USAT Level 1 coaching certification, and opened a triathlon training center with my wife, Cristina. I love pushing myself in endurance sports, but get even more joy out of helping others unlock their potential. I look forward to working with athletes that enjoy the process as much as the outcome; athletes who look for ways to get the work done, instead of finding excuses not to.

As a proud husband and dad of two, I know what it takes to balance being an athlete with everyday life. Whether my clients are working full-time, raising a family, or have other commitments – I help them find a comprehensive training regime that fits their lifestyle and gets them where they want to be. After my military career ended, I went on to do a BS in Geology. I was certified as a TRX coach as I find it a valuable tool for endurance athletes. I also completed my Ironman U certification. While I started off as a runner, I now love racing both shorter distance running races, in addition to half and full Ironman. I’ve been a coach and mentor through Team RWB (Red, White, and Blue) and you’ll find me trying to take the KOMs around our hilly area in NY.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Probably. If you're an endurance athlete, with a can do attitude, the desire to improve and you're ready to kick up your training and nutrition, then yes. Our program is right for beginners up through advanced athletes. We have athletes off all levels of experiences and ability.

The team is month to month, though some opt to pay quarterly or yearly. It's easy to cancel with just a few clicks of your computer or phone. While we'd love you to stay, we have athletes that both join for the year (or more), or just stay for the season. 

There are no racing or competing requirements. You also don't have to wear our kit. We love to see fellow teammates out there competing, but it is not a requirement as we know athletes support other clubs and sponsors as well. 

That's no problem. We have athletes all over the country, and even internationally. While we might not get to see you racing in person (though we do try to travel for races), we'll get to know you and be able to cheer and support you from our coaching calls and forum. 

We provide 1:1 coaching, as well as an accelerator version of our team. Both allow for additional customization and support. We take a limited number of 1:1 athletes and accelerator athletes. Currently we only offer our Team OFM accelerator to those already on Team OutFront.
